Tip of the Day – Know Your Camera

Read your camera’s manual cover to cover and experiment with different focusing settings to find the best combination for you. High-end cameras especially have a multitude of selectable focus points, focusing modes and tracking settings. Educating yourself about what’s best for your style of photography is essential. For this shot, I activated all the focus points and used Canon’s EOS iTR tracking with facial recognition. Great for some situations, such as this flying Poodle!
