Tip of the Day – Background Visualisation
To visualise what a background will look like when it’s out-of-focus, try deliberately blurring your eyes. If you can’t do this (not everyone can) focus closely on your hand, keep the same focus, then remove your hand. Being able to preview how a background will look is beneficial when choosing a spot to shoot.
