Tip of the Day – Find Cool Background Textures
Always keep an eye out for cool, interesting or unusual ground surfaces. Using a very shallow depth of field and shooting downwards for that “puppy dog eyes” look creates a beautiful soft out of focus background – think ground surfaces such as rock, pebbles, gravel, tiles – you get the idea! The ground, in this case, was a natural rocky outcrop that just happened to have the exact same colours as the Dachshund’s fur colours – what a find!
