Tip of the Day – Capture Expression
I can’t emphasise enough how important capturing expression is in dog photography! Expression is what sets your work apart and makes your images engaging, interesting and storytelling – rather than just a photo of a dog. Happy, serious, loving, serious or funny – dogs predominantly show their thoughts and mood through their body language, posture, eyes and ear position. If you’re lucky enough to be shooting a super expressive breed like Bert the Dogue de Bordeaux here – you’ll get additional personality through those adorably expressive face wrinkles!
