Tip of the Day ~ Attention Please!
This daily tip series is brought to you by Barkelona – a pet photography retreat we ran near Barcelona, Spain in April 2016. You can watch the behind-the-scenes video and read raving reviews here. Don’t forget to sign up to the mailing list to be the first to know when we announce our next out-of-this-world pet photography retreat!
What motivates your subject and gets their attention? For some dogs it’s treats, but for Pruna the Spanish Water Dog here, it was her ball! Pruna was one of the amazing models at our #barkelona pet photography retreats in Spain. One of the easiest models we had, her ball obsession worked to our advantage as she could be placed anywhere and held in place with the promise of a ball throw. We could even show her exactly where to look by holding the ball directly over the lens! Always try and find what motivates the dog you are photographing, and use it to your advantage!
