Removing colour casts in Photoshop

In this video editing tutorial, I take an image of Blackie the Border Collie and remove different coloured colour casts on both his black and white fur. It’s a technique I came up with myself after trying to find the quickest and most effective way of doing this to multiple images.

Below is the the before and after. Note the magenta/orange colour cast removed from his white chest and the purple/blue and magenta casts in the black fur (especially along the border with the white fur) on his head. The beauty of this technique is that just one adjustment layer is required to deal with various different colour casts at once.
