Tip of the Day – Find Shade at Midday

Tip of the Day – Find Shade at Midday

This daily tip series is brought to you by Barkelona – a pet photography retreat we ran near Barcelona, Spain in April 2016. You can watch the behind-the-scenes video and read raving reviews here. If you simply have to shoot in the middle of the day, try to find some shade. Harsh overhead sunlight is never pretty. Building shade can be great – just make sure you face your subject towards the direction of light – which is usually directly out from a wall.
