Tip of the Day – Seek shelter
Bella was our beautiful model for Episode 3 – isn’t she a cutie? When I arrived at Bella’s house it was raining – a summer storm – complete with thunder and lightning – was passing directly overhead. So that I didn’t miss out on too much shooting time, I decided to start photographing Bella straight away, rather than waiting for the rain to pass.⠀
Inside the house was too dark, and outside was a bit wet – but the back deck was perfect. It was covered from the rain but still had enough light coming in so that I didn’t have to use an excessively high ISO.⠀
Bella doesn’t have much training and doesn’t know stay, so I placed her up on the couch to keep her in place. She was super interested in my treats – a surefire way to make an instant best friend!
