Tip of the Day – Buzz look

Tip of the Day – Buzz look

This shot is a good lesson to illustrate why you should always be alert to what the dog is reacting to, and be ready to use that to your advantage. Bendy was getting a little tired – I think her ears had been getting the biggest workout they’d ever had! – and she wasn’t responding well to noises or treats while I was working with a wide angle lens up against this cool red door.

Until… she noticed a fly buzzing around!

I quickly grabbed this shot just as she perked up her ears to try and get the fly. You have to be quick to capture these moments!
