Tip of the Day – Candid moments
This daily tip series is brought to you by Barkarica – a pet photography retreat we ran in Costa Rica in February 2017. You can watch the behind-the-scenes video and read raving reviews here. Candid moments between dogs and their owners are often the most genuine. Instead of “posing” people – ask them to go sit down somewhere (where the background and light is pretty) and just ask them to interact with their dog. Some of my favourite dog and owner photos were shot using this method.
